” Beginning in the late 70’s and up into the mid 90’s, the New Wave (or Small Press) comics movement was a force to be reckoned with, as individual artists and teams produced their own photocopy booklets and zines (see Comics Journal #96). Publications by Clay Geerdes (Comix World), Ed Vick (MU Press), and Tim Collier (Small Press Comics Explosion) tracked and promoted the thousands of titles produced, but the advent of the internet would signal the end of the movement. I’m selling off my remaining collection at an EXTREMELY fair price to pass these treasures on and let someone else relive those heady days, featuring early work by the likes of Eastman & Lairde (pre-TMNT), Josh Quagmire, Ben Dunn, Brad Foster, RC Harvey, Shon Howell, Lea Hernandez, Josh Howard, and others. Good condition from a smoke free environment, you’re not likely to come across these gems again at these prices.”
